| Valbonne Vélo Social Club |
Our club is based in the beautiful medieval village of Valbonne in the foothills of the "Alpes Maritimes", just 13km north of Cannes and 20km North West of Nice. |
| The village is laid out in a grid pattern, with two principal avenues, arranged perpendicular to one another, with a central square: Place des Arcades. In the summer this square is a hive of activity with local people and tourists enjoying the numerous cafés and restaurants. Every Friday there is a busy market in the village streets that attracts big numbers of visitors. |
The village is the starting point for most of our Sunday and Wednesday rides. Many of our club sponsors are based in the village.
In addition to its very rich history and heritage, the greater Valbonne region includes Sophia Antipolis, one of the most successful technology parks in Europe hosting many high-profile companies and numerous start-ups. |
